We currently have an exciting opportunity based in Canberra for an experience ILS Engineer whom has direct experience with Life Cycle Cost to support a cutting edge satcom program.

The LCC Engineer is responsible for the execution and completion of multi-discipline technology project to support a complex ASDEFCON Satcom sustainment project

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, update and implement Life Cycle Cost models
  • Evaluate and quantify total cost of ownership
  • Development of ILS Artefacts including ILS Plans, LORA, RAM, provisioning and CDRL’s
  • Support development of optimized preventative maintenance and component replacement strategies
  • Continuously improve LCC methodologies, assumptions and data quality
  • Life Cycle Cost (LCC) activities
  • ILS management including planning and controlling delivery of ILS documentation & data
  • Preform logistic support analysis, maintainability, and reliability
  • Review and approve ILS documentation and data
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders

Apply now if you have the following:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance or related field
  • 8 + years of experience in Life Cycle Costing, Reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or cost analysis in defence environment
  • Experience navigating technical or cost data
  • Experience with the Systecon – OPUS Suite.
  • Experience with Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) modelling and reports, Logistics Support Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), or Provisioning Analysis
  • Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain working relationships
  • Applicants MUST hold a current NV1 or higher ADF Security Clearance (Australian citizens).
